Train with the Ottawa Gee Gees
The Ottawa Gee Gees baseball club will be holding Winter
Training to prepare any player age 13 and up for the
upcoming 2008 season.
The training will be held at
the
Carleton University Field House ( the best facility in Ottawa for
baseball because of the size and lighting)
Guest coaches from the
University of Ottawa Baseball Club will give instruction for
pitchers, catchers, position players, base running and
batting.
We are offering two time slots
to accommodate 20 players each from 9 to 11 a.m. and 11 to 1
p.m. at the Carleton University Field House on

Saturday, January 5, 12, 19 and 26 |

Saturday, February 2nd, 12-2 and 2-4 |

Saturday, February 9, 16 and 23 |

Saturday, March 1st |
Please note that the times
for Saturday, February 2nd are 12-2 and 2-4.
If you are interested, please
register by providing the player's name, position, preferred
time slot, telephone number and/or e-mail address. Cheques
in the amount of $250 should be made payable to the
University of Ottawa Baseball Club and mailed to c/o 841
Dundee Avenue, Ottawa, ON K2B 5S8.
We will also be holding registrations at our home games at
the Kinsmen Field in Kanata.

Again this year I will be organizing winter training in the
field house at Carleton University.
We will be using the U of O coaching staff as guest coaches.
The training is open to all players 13 to 18. Our university
players will also be there to help instruct and to join in the
workouts.
We will have our bating cage set up and will be instructing
all facets of the game (infield, outfield, pitching, catching
and base running).
The dates and times of the sessions are as follows:
Feb. 2 12-2 2-4 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Feb. 9 9-11 11-1
Feb. 16 9-11 11-1
Feb. 23 9-11 11-1
Mar. 1 9-11 11-1
The cost of the 9 week program will be $250.
